Chikara-the future

Chikara: age- 23 yrs.

Assassin/Thief/former spy. Alien experimentation, fused with a coral snake and a tiger.  Rival to Mei Lin.

 Is hired to assassinate daimyou/landlords (etc.) in the past, works as a moneylender while in the present.

Weapon- whatever she mangages to get a hold of, pure skill if needed.

She is loud, lazy, immature, impatient, and generally cheerful. An optimist, she is usually very confident in anything and everything she tries her hand at, always finding the silver lining in a situation; she never gives up.   Often tries to get Akikawa to mellow out (when not freeloading off him).

Despite first glances, she cares very much about her comrades, and hates to see them in anguish. 

She originated in the Future.

Chi-chan: "They say that letting something grow for a long time helps to carry all the memories of things that happen...  Like a pet, or a plant, photographs, or hair..."

Aki-kun: "Doesn't it get heavy?"

Chi-chan:"Of course, silly..." She said, smiling a little bitterly, "But I think that's how all things are...  When a bird grows up, he gets a whole lot of feathers and it weighs him down, but he uses them to his advantage in flight.  When that tree over there was just planted, it didn't have many branches, since it didn't have any stories to tell.  Your pictures, although they're heavy to carry now, have so many things to say.  My hair's the same way, I guess."
